So I currently own a 2016 GT and put an order in for a new 2017 GT premium with performance pack and a bunch other upgrades. So far I have been waiting 3 weeks for Ford to approve an allocation so they can order and build it! What gives here...why does Ford put customers through this crap?! It's not like I'm ordering a Shelby. Come on Ford!! :frusty:

Wow...you had to wait 4 months? Was any reason given to you as to why? I am surprised because you are in sunny CA...I thought you guys get them with no issues out there. Glad to hear you finally got your allocation. What are you getting for options?

Anyhow...my dealer just called me yesterday morning and said my Mustang has been allocated and the priority has been set to 1! So that is great news of course. My brother and I ordered Mustangs at the same time. His is going to production or is in production now. Hoping by some chance we get them at the same time!

I ordered my car I think July 21st, and picked it up yesterday.

By the way, did you get the "Mustang" Trade In Assistance Bonus Cash. $2,000 cash back?

If not go lock in that rebate with the dealership before it expires.

I believe it might only be good on 2013-2014's. I THINK.

I'm searching & finding this verbage:

Customers that currently own or lease a 2013/2014-Model Mustang who Trade In or have an expiring Lease will receive Trade-In Assistance Bonus Customer

$2,000 cash back. Offer only valid 9/01/2016 through 11/30/2016.

Once the production starts, it seems to go fairly quickly.

I check multiple times each day for progress updates though.

It's good to be excited about your car! Make sure that you visit the orders placed thread and we can all be miserable together!
