It depends on a lot of things if I am not mistaken. It depends on Region, Sales, size of dealership, etc. For example a smaller dealer in a rural area might only have 1 or 2 allocations. Where a larger dealer in a bigger city has sold 10-20 mustangs this past year, may have 10+ allocations. It all depends on the dealer.

Correct me if I am wrong anybody.

Every day, 2-3 times a day, I go to the website, Enter my Zip code, build the car I want, and Hope they get the hint.

Makes me wonder if a dealer like mine who wont order their allocation till they see the car is holding up my order!

If they placed yours as a retail order, then no, Ford isn't scheduling any retail orders yet.

What it does mean is that you won't get your car in the first set of stock order shipments, but with the slightly later retail shipments. Try to convince them to use their allocation for stock order with your order specs. Then, they'll get to see one, as well as know the one they get is already sold.

Of course, they'll have to wait for additional allocation to get one for themselves, but they're already going to be waiting, so what difference does that make.

It is a magic 8 ball, they shake it and whatever number comes up, thats what you get.

No, really, it is based on previous sales(Turn and Earn), projected sales, market survey, current inventory. The number of each specific build is determined by commodities available. You can google it and get lots of info, just be careful on the source. lastly, it is variable, so don't get excited or bent out of shape, because you like or dislike your situation...seasons change.

If your dealer won't order what you want, find a new dealer. There are over 3000 to chose from.

Thank goodness I am in Texas since it is rated as the highest Mustang sales in the Nation if I read that correctly!

Does anyone know of any dealers that still have allocations for the 50th LE that aren't charging a $10K mark up?

The Dealer where I bought mine had one last week. He was asking $7500 over.
