Hi guys, I am having the bmr camber bolts installed on Monday. The shop will then perform the alignment. I was thinking of showing them the track alignment specs from the gt350 supplement and ask them to do their best to get it as close to those as possible without exceeding them. Is that fine, or would you guys customize from there.

I have the BMR bolts and have tracked and street drive the car on FP track alignment. I posed a similar question some time ago and the general consensus is the alignment spec provided by FP is not extreme but maybe a happy medium. I can say that the car handles much better, much more turn in, much more grip. On the track I was able to push the limit of the Track mode setting due to the extra grip. On street driving many of the characteristics felt on track where also felt on the street. Of course if you had tramming issues before it will get worse. Having said all this, the tires themselves are holding up well with FP alignment specs. You could always go more aggressive but why not try the tried and tested specs provided by FP. It is working for me and I am a 3-4 times track yearly guy with street driving averaging about 5-6k miles a year.

Did you go with the R alignment specs or just regular GT350 track alignment specs? Thanks.

I am running the TP FP settings as I am on stock rubber. The R FP settings are a little more agressive but also have more tire. When i vet my track wheels in R spec I will run the R FP alignment. Till then I will exploit the TP FP alignment to the fullest as the car is so much more responsive. As of it wasnt already ; )

Awesome, I think I will go with the R spec alignment as my R spec rims are wrapped in Trofeo R's 305 all around

got the bmr camber bolts installed today and an alignment after that. Told the guy to get as close to the R's track specs as he could, here is the printout. The rear camber seems a bit more then specified, but it makes the wheel poke less, and the stance looks so much better all around, will see how it performs very soon. Other than the bmr bolts, the suspension is stock front and rear.

Nice set up, should be great on the track with those Trofeo's.
The BMR website states it takes about an hour to install the bolts, did you see
what this entails by chance ? I do not have air or impact guns, and can do
brake jobs, so may be able to do this in my garage.

Easy Peasy!!!! You will not need pneumatic tools. Old fashioned muscle strength will do. Take wheel off. Remove upper bolt and install new BMR camber bolt. TQ to 124ft lbs (repeat on other side) and head to the alignment shop to dial the car in. That's it!!!

Well there is an argument that they can do the alignment at the same time so it's not a bad idea. Why bolts and not full plates? I'm just curious and I personally don't trust camber bolts.
