I bought the Air Lift 3H kit from Andrew at Open Road Tuning.
I started mocking up where we would be installing everything. I will be putting the dual compressors and 4 gal tank all in the wheel well. It seems like everything will fit but I would need to place the compressor on its side and mount to the side of the wheel well. It would offer the most amount of open space and circulation. I also want these to be as quiet as possible so I also bought the insulators.
My biggest question that I can't seem to find is would there be any issues mounting these compressors sideways WITH the isolators? I would assume there would be added stress on the lowest two bolts. I've thought of maybe doubling the spring or something? Thoughts? The compressors are 444c VIAIR if that helps in any way.
Thanks.
