Hello everyone so I just put catless longtube headers on my 2017 GT PP1 and driving it back home I glanced through the gauge screen and notice my af reading was stuck at 14 not sure if that has anything to do with the headers being catless and the car not having a tune yet (tune is ordered waiting on Lund)? I drive the car back home about 100 miles , the car drove fine and didn’t throw a check engine light surprisingly. I’m clueless as to why it wouldn’t be reading the afr correctly.

one more thing , the headers installed on the car are speed engineering and they are hitting on the frame. I wouldn’t buy these ever again. Only reason I picked these up was because I got them brand new for less than half the price of what they cost new on FB marketplace lol but I wouldn’t ever recommend them to anyone , just spend the extra $$ on some stainless works or Texas speed headers.

but any help would be appreciated

If your AFR is stuck it's probably a bad sensor, wire, or bad extension harness (if you used one)

I did use extensions for the front sensors ordered them on Amazon. But looks like I’m going to have to order something a little better. I have summit racing nearby. May have to swing by and see if they have the bbk extensions

When the dash gauge is stuck at 14 it means the car is in open loop fueling mode. This is usually due to an oxygen sensor not working.

but a bad sensor would throw a CEL code wouldn’t it?

Sometimes needs a few cycles as well. I installed kooks catted LTH and it took sometime for my CEL to come on.
