Weld some tabs on and re powder coat or paint it or make some billet aluminum clamps with tap holes to fasten the shield on.I kind of wanted to keep a splash shield. This car will still see tons of street duty. But only on dry days. I have some things to consider.
If I know the tube diameter I can machine them for you. I'm a ex tool and die maker and my dad owns a machine shop.I may be a master tech but im horrible at custom fabbing set ups.![]()

If you want to go that way the watsons is far better. A part of that is because of the relocated brakes. Since i want 1300whp,-1500whp on tap im not going to bother trusting the rear diff will hold. Its also just not an ideal set up to run 7s. The irs iron diff has proven to hold up at high 8s and 9s. If thats all you want you didnt chose wrong necessarily. Youll be slower with it by 3-4 tenths but is not horrible by any means.I did the price comparison between all the components and G-Force or DSS' 9" setup. I chose the factory components, but if I break anything a 9" is going in the car. Sort of wondering now if I should have gone with the 9" to start, but need to not second guess myself now.
