Hello all!

I am looking at getting a muscular car soon and hope to make a happy choice without regret.

My friend Bill says that Camaros are currently the strongest top Pony car (he has one), but I think anything designed by Shelby Ford is great. I saw that Shelby Ford has new design for her 2018 lineup and wanted advice from this website as you all have wisdom about Shelby Ford. The Rock seems to like the car.

Will the 2018 Shelby Ford Mustang v8 require modifications to go faster than Camaro?

If I like the 2018 Shelby Ford Mustang v8, how do I gain wisdom about the secret X factor plan prices? Bill said I can join a club to get it?

I read that there is a hybrid, but I don't want to plug in the car.

It has been my dream for many years to have a muscular car, especially a pony car. I want to drive very fast, but not with pain for me or others.

well to start off with there is no "shelby ford mustang v8". What you saw was the new 2018 mustang.

There is the gt350 which is a shelby made by ford then there is shelby american who take ecoboosts and gt's that you buy and then you send it to them and they slap the cost aftermarket parts on them + 20k.

you don't need no fancy plan. just go to a good dealer. xplan sucks anyways and can be beaten any day of the week by a country mile.

You are too worried about which car is faster. I know that sounds rediculous, but unless your racing it does not matter.

All cars are fasters now with an Auto trans than with a manual. But which experience is more enjoyable? We're now at the point as car consumers that faster is not necessarily more enjoyable. In the 90s a faster car was almost always more fun. Not so anymore. You need to focus on engine character, driving manners, and sheer emotion. Like others said, drive both and you'll know. But I certainly can understand wanting to know where your car stands, we all want to know that.

Go to a Chevy dealership and a Ford dealership and drive both cars. Don't let the internet decide what you spend $35,000 on.

This is a Mustang forum, everyone is going to tell you to get the Mustang.
not true. I like my mustang but I also owned a 2010 Camaro & 2000 Trans Am! :ninja:

I choose my vehicles based on pure data. HAHAHA or the cheapest/coolest looking car I can afford!

If you remove the SLIGHT performance difference between the Mustang and the Camaro, the Mustang is overall a better car and I'm not saying that because I own one but because it's true.

Most people don't like the styling of the current Camaro except people who have previously owned them.

Most people don't really care for the confused interior

Most people don't really care for the lack of room in the Camaro

Most people don't care for visibility in the Camaro.

Modding, what are your plans. Mustang have better aftermarket support. Handles FI really well where as you will get more out of bolt-ons for N/A power with the Camaro.

Price is no longer a arguing point because it appears they are at realistics prices now.

However the continued sales of Mustang and Dodge still selling more than the newest, latest and greatest supercar killer Camaro, speak volumes in many ways.

However, what you REALLY need to do is stop listening to me, stop listening to Bill and stop reading stuff online based off subjective opinions and just go test drive both cars. Don't just take them out for a spin around the dealer's parking lot. Take them down a busy stop and go road. Take it on the highway. Take them on a back road with curves. Then you take your impressions and you form an opinion of your own because WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU LIKE. :headbonk::lol::D

It is important that the car is strong. We must present a powerful image or my wife and friends not respect me. If I spend much money, I want to beat Bill.

I also consider buying a restomod. They look and sound much better than most new cars.
