Was this all done under 2k rpm?
Except for, like I said, one WOT run to redline through the first two gears with 35 miles on the odometer, I haven't gotten it above 3K at all, and, yeah, maybe a total of 15 or 20 seconds above 2K in 330ish miles of driving. In city driving there's never the opportunity to get the engine up that high, and in highway driving I've been revving it up to 2000 rpm and then letting it fall back down to 1500 or so and then back up to 2000, etc.

Jimmy get that thing to at least 4k or 5k on occasion...You need more variation in rpm than that

The accelerometer is only active when the engine's on, so it wouldn't have been a falling-off-the-truck scenario... and I think you'd see actual body damage if you had that kind of an impact as a result of somebody driving the car. I'm curious what type of impact would be required for a 1.5g right showing... Obviously a fall is a 1g scenario, but a landing could exceed that; it would have to be a left-side landing on the tires (otherwise you'd have body damage) with a lateral impact FAR greater than that (since the majority of the force in a landing would be upward, rather than rightward)... assuming that it was a result of, say, hitting a stop on a sideways slide to the left at a 45 degree angle (so a 3g total stopping force), the car would have to be sliding sideways downhill at 65 mph and then stop immediately. That seems incredibly unlikely.

I think it was just a software glitch. Or else somebody dropped the accelerometer before it was put on the car.

Those of you getting over .75 acceleration G's, what driving technique are you using?
e.g. Just stepping on it off idle in first then going through the gears, launching?

No no Jimmy lol I have the manual and just a typical launch really. Maybe it's the shift into second that does it

That's what I am thinking because first has a fair amount of wheel spin.
However, the auto guys aren't having that harsh shifting into 2nd, especially on stock tune.

I pulled .86G lateral (left, so taking a right turn) sustained at ~40*F ambient temp. Tires weren't "warmed up" properly, but the grip was there.

Before it got cold here, it felt like I couldn't take an off-ramp or on-ramp fast enough to even touch the handling limit. The suspension and steering setup make it feel like a slot car through the turns.

No launch, just pull in first starting at 2000rpm = .72G acceleration for me.

I have .94 on mine I've launched. I also have over 1 G for lateral and .8+ for braking.
