Accelatec DRL ?

I've tried using the search function but can't seem to find an answer...I have Accelatec front turn signals with the white DRL. Is it possible to have the white DRLs come on with the tri-bar lights during the day? Or do you always need to turn the parking lights if you want them running during daytime hours? I assumed the OEM ambers were running as DRLs but I could be mistaken.
