ACC dead pedal cover

Hey guys,
Been stuck in the house for 3 days now because cold in Texas.
My ACC dead pedal cover was delivered yesterday and I'm itching to do SOMETHING today.
But not outside under my carport in 29°.
I'd read somewhere that the dead pedal just snaps out.
It's an 2018+ GT.
Anyone know how to just "snap it" out, without effing something up?
Looked on YouTube and Zippo.

Just pull on it. It has trim clips like all the various dash panels, etc.

I just replaced my pedals. For the dead pedal, I decided to just buy a spare cover (FR3B-6312020-ACW) and drill into the spare which I can then snap on.
