AC question... Do you know...

Since there appears to be so many people having AC failures on these cars my question is... Is the AC covered under the 5 year driveline warranty since its attached to the engine? Thanks much.

After factory warranty runs out only on most extended warranties. Powertrain warranty covers things like engine (not bolt ons as air conditioner) transmission, differential and maybe more I can't think of but some one will chime in if more.

I did put a call into Ford customer service to check on this. However one is never too sure what kind of info you'll get from some young lady with a foreign accent. She came up with the AC isn't NOT covered under the powertrain 5yr warranty. Soooo now I'm pretty sure if mine goes out I'm on the hook for it even though its a commonly know issue with Mustangs....not just the 350. Nice going Ford...
