Yes. Took it to the dealer, they flashed the computer that controls the temp.
Sometime I miss analog old school stuff.

My problem was leaking refrigerant. I just top off with a can from autozone and I'm back to normal. Ford could not find the leak so I just top off and I'm good for a year or so.

Sounds like a leak in the evaporator core like everyone else is having. It will get worse until you run completely out of coolant in a month. My evap core was replaced two weeks ago and started the same way, even with ford saying they couldn't find a leak.

2017 EU spec EcoBoost here. The exact same thing started happening to me yesterday, on a hot day. The car is only 8 months old with 6000 km on (3750 miles). This seems to be a common problem to the 2015+ Mustang, but never happend to me to any of the cars I owned before. Seriously, I start questioning the quality of these cars...

Me too. I cant imagine what these cars will look like in 5 years. Starting to regret this purchase and I am in no position to get rid of it now either.

Update: I took the car to the dealer yesterday and they confirmed that they have to top it up with coolant (as if it was needed...). They will do it next week. They could not find a leakage and they told me it's normal for any car to leak a bit coolant, although I am not convinced... I will keep you posted.

Find a different dealer. In no way shape or form is it normal.

I had a dealer tell me that they couldn't locate a nail in my tire. It was down 4 psi and the other ones were fine. They told me it was the temperature swing we had just had. Took the car to a real shop. Nail in the inner side wall.

I know it's not normal. I never had this kind of problem with any car I owned in the past. I treat my Mustang like a Victoria's Secrets model and I get this in return? Seriously now, I am hurt! :brokenheart:

Ok, so mine went for the airco fix today, but it was a disaster.... whatever they replaced in the interior (some sort of valve) didnt work, and now they have no idea what to do next.

Theyve asked for Ford to send them advice, and I will have to take it back for approx 3-5 days in the next few weeks for further assessment.

Navigation is also kaput.

Ive already had (2) failed appointments to fix the airco, and Ford refuse to give a free replacement vehicle for the 3-5 days appointment.

Im not very impressed. Welcome to owning a Mustang in Europe :(

Can you imagine how many people they say that to and they actually believe it and end up paying for work that should be under warranty ???
Its not just Ford though, my experiences with Porsche and BMW have been just as bad.
That is why Forums like this are so beneficial as you can learn about all these things :frusty:

OK, now you scare me. In my country you cannot live without an air-condition. Given the amount of heat these cars produce, I think I am gonna be toasted bread if they cannot fix it...

REALLY disappointed! Can anyone from Ford chime in for advise or feedback?

Totally agree with you. But I am not going to pay anything. It's all up to them.

I have also heard of similar problems with Porsche and BMW. And our forum ...rocks, to say the least! :headbang:
