I can't believe it, but it's nearly time to take delivery of my GT Premium :amen:

I am now looking to those of you that have already taken delivery for some assistance. What item's, based on your experience, should I be sure to check for? Reading these forums over the past several months, I already know to check for: Air duct grommet that feeds each door, rubber hood bumpers and body panel fitment. What other items should I check before I take delivery?

Thanks everyone :ford:

What's up with the air ducts? This is the first time I've heard about them being something to look out for. Misalignments or something?

When the proto type cars went on tour, a few people mentioned that the rubber grommet that allows air into the door panels were crunched enough to prevent most of the air flow. It was though that this would be correction in the formal builds. I've not seen a follow-up.

I checked my grommets that feed each door... both were perfect.

I checked the body panels, and gaps, like you said.

I checked over all the paint for obvious chips, dents, or blemishes.

I checked the leather, and pretty much the entire interior for any marks, rips, tears...

My dealer had to finish up with another customer, but he gave me the keys right when I got there. I probably spent 30 minutes looking at everything. :)

Picked mine up yesterday and the driver side window squeaks loudly when I roll it down. I am sure it is still wearing in but I'd check it.
