A6 paddle downshift to 1st very jerky

Anyone with the A6 using paddle shifting ever feel like the downshift to 1 sometimes...chokes? Very jerky.

I can't imagine ever needing to paddle down to first gear, why would you do that? Even when the car auto downshifts into first gear it's jerky.

Not while accelerating, the opposite. And it sounds good.

I'll have to check, but I don't think I notice it as much when it downshifts automatically which is why I'm curious.
