Good evening all.
Is there any way I can know if my 2017 gt has the factory tune or something else?
I'm not complaining, this engine has way more ballz than I was expecting. I will admit the last v8 stang I had was a 2006 Roush gt stage 1.
I love the power, but it scares crap outta wife, and me sometimes. I really have to be careful of the go pedal.
What a trip. Thanks all. Dave

Is the car stock? Even if it is tuned you'll need a retune if you do anything wiith it either way.

If you have a HP tuners device it can tell you, another way is to bring it over to ford and they can tell if it's ever been tuned at all, even if its stock now. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the reply. I can only assume its stock,as I doubt the 2 previous owners would have changed it.
As it is, I get acceptable milage, and driveability.
It does have a pedal minder on it and set at p3,no slack spots in the throttle.
I like it as it is,was just curious if there was some kind of onboard tech that would tell me.
Im not one to mess with sucess.
These 5.0s are bad boyz.
Thanks, Dave
