fair point and exactly why i didn't pay more than mid 40's for mine out the door.
i almost got a hpp because at least at that price point (like 10K under a GT PP) the quality and price point were close.

i genuinely think i'd have been totes happy with one of those if push came to shove. they're neat.

I got the EBHHP because they wanted 10k over sticker for gt's at the time and 15 over for the Mach 1 . And I found a left over fully loaded HHP and Ford was offering 4k rebate on leftover mustangs, I paid 9k give or take under sticker for mine, making the bump to a gt of Mach-1 a big one. Can't really use the extra power the gt or Mach-1 has here, so it be paying tens of thousands more to have a v8 exhaust sound. I might have done it if I didn't have other v8 cars to play with, I just wasn't paying 10-15k over sticker for a car, Any car.
