Good for him, full sticker on a new car is a good deal for a sucker. Offer them invoice and don't budge. Car salesmen do NOT determine what you pay, you do.
How 'bout it ... anyone here get theirs for invoice? I'm betting against it, lol.

At the end of the month is the best time to make an offer. I had the dealership begging me to get the car by the end of February so it could go on the books for that month. Otherwise they pay on the car for another month and have to keep space for it. Sounds like it depends on what part of the country as far as ADM. I had local dealers from 3k to 16k over, but I drove 400 miles away and paid sticker for my 17'. I've only seen one dealer at about 1500 under sticker and that car didn't last long.

There is some truth to the '16's sitting on the floors - not sure about the '17's. My dealer had a white/blue tech '16 not too long ago and got rid of it at invoice - not MSRP. The GT350R is another story!

You sound like the guy who was bent over with an ADM and bought the Tru-Coat or do they still put that on at the factory?

$1,500 under MSRP in Wisconsin back on "Black Friday" for a base '17 that had just arrived.

No additional fees and the best experience I've had buying a new car... and I've bought plenty new ones in the last 30 years.

Offer them 3K or 4K under if 1.5K under is there asking price. The worst you can do is 1.5K under.

I paid MSRP last year, no bending over and couldn't be happier. Still, waiting to see who got one for "invoice" ... not below MSRP, invoice.

IT's a lot of things too...

Time, effort... but most of all , the physics of it. Where is it located? How much is shipping a car ? Have you looked into it?

Could it be worth it to offset costs on the car itself vs acquisition? Also, what options do you really want? Really have to have that you would regret 10 years down the road? Compare that to whats available , or order. Or if available nearby but with ADM or at sticker , if you could get an out of state dealer down what is it worth to you to see the car before signing the bottom line ?

This is not buying a Mustang V6. This is like buying a limited run exotic. And the effort 100% worth it.

Its not a corvette or a GM pickup motor supercharged but w/ eDiff and bumper mounted cameras... its like buying a house. Everyones gonna take a piece of the pie.
