A/C on last setting questions w/ remote start

I love my remote start since I live in the desert. My question is, the manual states it will run at the last setting when you use remote start. I never use the auto climate control. Sometimes when I use the remote start the a/c and fan speed are always on when the car starts, but sometimes when I hit the start button, it shuts off completely and turns back on right away and other times it stays on continuously after hitting the start button? Any idea why this randomly happens? Thanks!

When you remote start, the system is trying to get your to the previous temperature setting as fast as possible which is why it's at full fan speed.

Have you set it up in your car settings? There is an option to select: auto or the last setting used!l there is also a setting for the seats to be auto or the last setting used. If it's set to auto for either what will happen is as soon as you start the car with the remote the system is going to either cool or heat depending on the ambient temp. As soon as you hop in and turn it on with the brake and start button the system will revert to what ever the system was doing the last time you turned it off.

It changes with outside temp. Adjusts needs to get car cooler or warmer based on outside temp reading. For instance, you have heated seats selected to come on during remote start, but they will not unless the outside temp is at least 32 degrees.

Interesting. I have not touched any setting inside the car. Its been well over 100 degrees every day since I got my car. My A/C is always on manual, lo setting and fan speed around the middle setting. I'll get in the car and the fan will be blasting me at the last setting after pressing the brake and hitting start and other times the fan will be at the same speed when I get in the car, but when I hit the brake and the start button, it totally shuts down and then resumes back to the same speed the fan was on after it was started with the remote start.
