A/C Evap Fixed but now Hot Air in Passenger Footwell

Had my 2016 GT with 25K in for the A/C evaporator core a few weeks back and now my A/C is working properly again. However, I've had a few passengers tell me they feel hot air blowing on their feet.

After checking things out myself I've found that whenever the passenger side window is open (even just slightly cracked) you can feel hot air flowing out from behind the center stack and down into the passenger footwell.

I haven't been able to compare to another S550 to see if this is normal but I never had any complaints before the evap replacement. Anyone else have this issue?

I've never had anyone tell me that there was hot air coming out of the footwell with windows down. They probably didn't put a cover or shield on correctly when they put it back together.
