8AN return fuel & 3/8 sensor spliced in

Thinking about throwing an E85 sensor into my car. I found this setup and don't really find much else.

Would there be an issue reducing my 8AN return line to tap in this 3/8 sensor? The adapters look readily available, but not sure if it would negatively affects my overall fuel system.

Any thoughts? Anyone know of any other methods?
