With that setup you may want to carry a full size spare. I would not chance the factory spare..just my opinion.

My car came with 255x45x19 which is 28.04 tall. It also came with a spare tire setup. I don't know it's dia. but Ford sells this setup so it should work temporarily if you trust Ford??
Looks like your 285x35x19 is 26.85 tall. I would think that dia will work.
