How strict is Ford when using their $750 Private Cash Offer? I ordered a convertible with specific options from my dealer. The Cash Offer states that I have to: "Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 12/27/2014".
Does this mean I cannot use it with my order?
Which term is valid? "retail" or "stock"?

Has nothing to do with how it was ordered. It has to be physically at the dealer and you have to do all paperwork and take delivery by 12/27.

In the past (few years ago), dealers were able to request an extension on the deadlines from their regional reps. If that's no longer possible, just sign up for a bunch of different brochures on the ford website and they'll bombard you with private offers. I'm not even buying a car for a few more months and I've gotten like 7 brochures or mailers in the last few weeks.

Oh, and sign up your significant other too. As long as they're in your household, it's transferable.

It is possible to lock in the Purchase & Sale Agreement on the final day of the $750 Promotional Offer (if) the Dealer anticipates the Car arriving and your driving it home within several days of the "Put in Service" date. Sure you will lose a few days of your Warranty Coverage (but) is it worth $750? All financing and paper work must indicate the final day of the offer. If you were out of Town and couldn`t physically drive the Car off the lot, whats the issue if you drove it home a few days later? Been there, done that.

I second this. My original EDD was 12/2, and my coupon expires on 12/1, so I've been spamming Ford for brochures lately. My wife checked the mail today and found 12 of them all at once, and 5 of them had the $750 private offer.


Oh, and sign up your significant other too. As long as they're in your household, it's transferable.
Does it have to be a spouse/significant other? I did a few with my 16 year old sons name. Will those still work since he lives in the same household?

Ford has changed it a bit now.
Dealer can not report the vehicle as sold on that date if the vehicle is still at plant. It gives error and won't let us process the sale for that day.
If it's within a day or two it's maybe doable but any longer than that and it's gone.

It's a lot more than that.
Ford uses their costumer report system to pick potential buyers and people in the market. That's why the same person can get 3-4 coupons within a week and another person can apply ten times for brochures and get nothing.

What brochures do people have success with?
In my experience it is totally random. I requested a Mustang brochure a while back from the 1-800 number. When it came in the mail, it didn't have an offer. I requested random vehicles from the website, and out of 12 that came in the mail today, almost half had the offers.

I ve received about 5 brosures and about half say some where between 750-3000 of the msrp for the specific car of the brosures but I didn't see anything that says cash. Will this 750 cash offer be separate from the brodure and not for a specific car that the brosure is for?
