Here is a closeup. The tread separated around 80% of the circumference of the tire. They were down to the wear bars anyway but I was hoping I could finish out the day but had to quit early. My driveway is gravel so that's what all the dirt is, but you can see the steel belts in there.

7,100 miles, 7.5 track days (probably around 40 sessions of 20-30 minutes each)

Love the thread title

What's the average life out of these tires anyways?

I'm guessing that's a front tire with no camber plates?

good eyes! recently added camber plates but they were backorder for months so much of the damage was done on stock alignment

Where do I get some camber plates? 7.5 days and 7500 miles. Not bad! How was the trackability on day 5-6?

Just can't get enuff!
Not bad! Yeah the MPSS wear out like that especially in the middle where a center strip delaminates or separates sometimes even before the wear bars. My MPSS on my Z06 did the same after about 6-7 track events.

On my GT350 with 4 track days so far, I still have plenty of thread. Granted 2 track days were hampered under wet/rain conditions and I haven't really pushed it to the limits at all corners yet on the dry days. I think I can get 4-5 more track events with it before delam starts on the MPSS. I'm still on stock suspension & alignment setup.

I went with the Maximum Motorsports plates and hardware. I now have the front and rear alignment at the recommended track settings so we'll see how the new tires wear. It was suggested to me that the ford alignment might not be enough though. Seems like I'm the trail blazer in this area unless some factory test monkeys chime in.
