Temps are definitely going to make a difference. Now that you have the AP, look at your charge air temps. That is the air you are actually using. If the inlet temps are that high, you'll probably have some really bad CATs. From your description, would it be safe to assume running canned COBB tune? It should be better than stock but not too much gain. It's hard to get real performance out of it until you have a tuner work with your specific car. I would highly recommend plugs and an intercooler!

Get in your car and press 'cancel' on the cruise control buttons. This is activate the map switching. Press + or - to move up and down through the slots. 1,000 rpms is Slot No. 1, 2,000 rpms is Slot No. 2, etc. I'd almost bet it'll jump to another slot besides No. 1. Put it in Slot No. 1 (1,000 rpms) and try it again.

It's a programmer from Diablo sport that basically goes on any amarican car 96 and up each with a canned tune Its well know among Hemi and Chevy guys
Sounds like an ecoboom story waiting to happen... No offense, but don't ever use that tuner again. With the Cobb I would contact the Cobb guys and see what the deal is. Your max boost is 18?

Follow Juben's instructions. When I loaded my Cobb AP it defaulted to slot#3 on install. Not sure why but it did. Went to slot#1 and it was just fine. I'm,fairly sure it reduces boost the higher numeric value for economy.

Could be the added torque from the tune is causing the traction control system to close the throttle on you as well.

Better yet, don't guess. Load the Accessport Manager software and see what tune is in what slot. Then follow those instructions and load the tune you want.

Juben does that affect boost?
Yeah, it does. Slot No. 1 is max performance and every slot after that steps down. Slot No. 5 is the Economy tune slot where the boost pressure is around 8 psi or something.
