6MT Shifter Noise

Anyone else experience how ruff it feels when shifting from 1st to 2nd , getting a slight clunking noise? I've tried replacing the poor excuse of a shifter bracket/bushing Ford installed but the noise is still present. It's just the initial shift then it shifts normal. I'm just wondering if it's the stock shifter ?

Doesn't really make a difference if it's hot or cold just the initial shift from first to second feels ruff get a nice clunk. I know the shifter has multiple pieces it's not like the older mustang shifters just wondering if replacing the shifter will take care of it

Check out the transmission forums, long story short the transmission is a bit clunky. Some people were able to get smoother shifts by changing the transmission oil.

It does shift smoothly but when it does it you feel it primarily at the shifter it doesn't grind or not going into gear just a clunk at the shifter

I have had the same issue since day 1. Switched Tranny oil to Motul Gear also, didn't address the issue.

Yeah it doesn't feel internal

Thought about trying the blowfish bracket?

I just start in 2nd and avoid 1st. Easier to work with
