.........finally got a few dry days so I could drive the new GT.
Were gone to the NC coast a few days after picking it up in VA.
Can't drive the car in the rain....(I know, I know)

Anyway, only had the Scat Pack 3300 miles and 5 mos. I don't understand the
allure of these cars, especially to the guys on the Challenger forums.
It is an ok car, however, the Mustang is hands down better in curves and
overall looks. Not to mention the hp is great, but not on par w/6.4 Hemi.

The Mustang is no Camaro in the handling category, but it is good, better than
the Challenger.
I did consider a new GT350 as well as a GT500 and on down to a Mach 1.
Any of the 3 were a lot of money to sit in the downstairs most of its life.

I'm happy w/my choice (for now) since I got my stripes on.
....Don't tell the wife...................... :giggle:

Got the same car but in white, she's got about 1100 miles as of this past weekend. It really is a blast to drive.

You want to see HP, throw a Roush stage 2 blower on it or any supercharger for that matter (Roush is nice if you get it done at a dealer. you keep your warranty)

Good synopsis, I've heard that same thing: The S550 is the all around best grand touring car. Camaro for all out handling and Dodge for straight line... but always traction issues with the big hemi. I was looking at RT Scat Pack manual then decided to S550. Thx for sharing!

Kinda what I take away from all my reading the last 6 months. For the Camaro, it's just ugly to me and I don't really care for Chevy. I LOVE a 392 widebody and they look great, but end of the day I am super happy with my choice. All great cars, just depends on what the owner wants and likes.

Mine gets a lot of compliments on look, even from people like me who normally hate green, but I think the PP2 stripes help it along with other black accents. It's got way more juice than I need in its current form, its a joy to drive in the city, and on road trips it is more comfortable than my 2018 Accord was. Louder, but more comfortable ;)

If you compare a 392 NA Challenger, a 6.2 NA Camaro, or a 307 NA GT, it's more about what does the person buying it want, expect, and like.
