5 weeks No VIN;Build Date Need Help

Ordered a GT Premium on 03/09/2015. So far No VIN, much less a build date. Dealer not concerned but I am. Should I be? :shrug:Need another contact - I.E. Rachel ?

Rachel is gone, its Jeff now at Ford Service. Check my signature, took me a little more then a month to get a VIN, a lot of people here can say the same.

lehny, what are your build specifics. I'm going on 2 weeks in the same boat but know many others who have vins and edd already

Thanks for the quick replies. I will rest another week or so. The specs are:

gt coupe Prem 401A, auto, 19 in dark stainless wheels, adaptive cc

Just keep waiting, not much you can do. Took 7 weeks for my first VIN.

I'm in a similar boat. I ordered end of February and still don't have anything... I'm learning patience like never before lol

Add me to the waiting pool as well. Ordered on 3/7 and then a month of silence. Nothing in COTUS but a vehicle delivered last year under my order #. Jeff has been gracious checking each week but can't provide any more information besides confirming he sees the order in the system.

At this point my dream of having my convertible by Memorial Day weekend is slipping away...

It took five weeks for me to get a VIN. Two weeks there were no VINs allocated. My dealer also did tell me if they had any allocation. After looking at their existing orders, they probably used their allocation for the month and did not let me know. Had I known, I would have went to high volume Mustang dealer since I was using x-plan.

The more I read about people's troubles the more I realize how lucky I got with the process.

I ordered on Feb 9 and picked up my car at the dealer on Mar 31.

Ha ha! To top it off, my dealer always uses the same order number for custom orders so I cannot even find my car in COTUS. It shows up as an F150! :(

In all seriousness I understand the frustration. A part of me is worried that if they delay too long I will end up with a 16. Since I really want the 50th app, that would be a downgrade.

Order 3/24/15 just got told my car will be in production the 28th. Sales guy said he located another vehicle just like mine that he's trying to get his hands on by the end of this week. Bullshit?
