3M Clear Film Wrap (coverage)

I am planning on getting Racing stripes. Is it possible to install clear bra over vinyl stripes? OR should we install the stripes on TOP of the clear bra?

A top XPEL installer advised the stripes down first. They are 0.003", while the CPF is 0.008". Also, the stripes won't adhere well to the slick CPF.

He even offers to cut the CPF at the interfaces with the stripes, to prevent the narrow lifting at the interface. I suppose you could replace the stripes this way, plus the bit of CPF that is on top of them there.

The coverage I want in XPEL is 1250, and was consistent with 2 of 3 quotes.
