I have a few small hits on my bumper. It looks like some tiny road debris or stone hit it and kind of dug into the paint a little. Is a Clear Bra going to prevent this? Can a very thin clear film over the paint keep the paint from getting chipped when hit by a little hard object at high speed?

I did not get a Clear Bra when my car was first delivered but my dealer is supposed to be replacing the bumper cover to correct a mis-alignment of the panel, so it'll be fresh clean paint. I am debating whether to do it this time, if it'll really save my paint from more than bug splatter.

I know folks who use this product - Road Wrap. It's a temporary barrier, similar to using painter's tape.
i use roadwrap too. its a one time use but does save on the front.
been using that since around 2007 ?

at least its an alternative to the 3m but if i knew i would keep the car as-is then i would look at 3m clear.

I just did an Xpel clear bra on my CO 2015, partial front. Glad I did as I has 2 tiny chips after a week of owning it, I drive on the highway a lot.

This is what I'm talking about. Would xpel prevent this?

I don't think anything would prevent the damage in the bottom photo. As for the other two, I think it would minimize it if not prevent it. Glancing blow vs head on impact.

I believe xpel would prevent that damage. I have it on my headlights now and on the lase three cars I've owned. It is very thick when compared to 3M. On the plus side, I never had headlight damage or yellowing.
