Hi ya'll -

Looking into proper wets for the car and not much available in the states in 19s. Conti/Hoosier make a 325/710R19, but that's a damn wide tire. But you can buy them for $95 each. Is there ANY way to make it work? that's soooooo cheap.

Section width is 12.7, only .2 more than the 315 slicks I run. But the height is 28in, which is huge.

I have a set of 6GRs laying around and am wondering if you added a spacer, could you make these clear the front strut and fender? Possible? Won't likely be needed but more than 1-2 days a year, but would like to still be able to run when the weather is like this:

I see Pirelli has the 305/680R19, but I ca't figure out where to purchase them.

Additionally, Hankook has the Z207 300/680R19s. Cost is a bit under $2k from what I've heard.

I'm running 275/40x19 all-seasons on the front of my car with no problems. They're 27.7" tall. Narrower though.

By chance do you have any detail pics of fitment?

I'm not sure this is very helpful, but this is what I have...

The fender well doesn't look crowded at all at 27.7". The rears are 285/40, which actually are 28" diameter. The risk is that the outside edge of a wider (a lot wider) tire might rub the inside face of the fender well at full lock.

Here's a pic of my car with MPS4s 325's on all four corners. I'm running -2 camber and no issues. Paul from PKauto sold the setup to me and promised correct fitment, he was 100% correct

Way too tall, you’ll chew your fender lines. I had 305 pirellis in 19” and noticed the slight rubbing.

Then I switched to 18s and haven’t looked back. Tires are cheaper, lighter and fit better.

On a unmodified OEM "R" suspension? Only suspension mod has been Vorschlag camber plates and alignment
BTW, I was only responding because of the pic request for a car with 325's installed.

The 325's are my street tires, I only ran them for a test weekend to see how the difference in tires felt, definitely a completely different car. I have my CF wheels primarily for track use.

Definitely putting a brake kit on the list so I can run 18s.

When you were running the 305s - were they the 305/690-19s? If so, where were they rubbing?

I think he was referring to my original post. You're good to go :)

Yes they were the 690s and they were rubbing, mostly at Laguna.

I really wish everyone could try driving a GT350 with18’s, it’s what this car was meant have. I do love my 19” TE37s but the difference is apparent when I put the forgelines on.

My fault, I have spherical bearings at every suspension point and 4 degrees of camber up front etc

I can imagine. I can't wait.

Regarding the rubbing? Where on the car were they rubbing? Struts? Inside fenders?
