That's pretty wide for a 9.5" wheel....I think I am able to run 305 without spacers on my stock pp wheels, correct? Anyone have any pictures ,looking at the nitto nt05r . need something to help put down this procharger power.:ford:
hmmm still thinking about it, i wanted the nittos nt05r and thats the smallest size they make.Don't do it! 305's were barely fitting good on my 20x10" wheel.
Get a 295.
I believe someone posted al ink to purchase a wider PP wheel from an aftermarket company. I'd look into that if you wanted bigger.
cant put that kinda power down with those tires. but i think they will fit, you can say putting a 12" tire on a 9.5" wheels probably isnt the best situation. but i am asking if they will fit305 will not fit on the OEM wheels. 285-295 is pushing it. Here is going to be the best tire you can put on OEM sizes:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=ADVAN+Neova+AD08+R
255/35/19 and 275/35/19 OR
265/35/19 and 285/35/19
Tire width does not directly mean you will put your power down... And I mean sure you can shove an improperly sized tire on whatever wheel you want, you'll just have the sidewalls fail on you and possibly spin out.hmmm still thinking about it, i wanted the nittos nt05r and thats the smallest size they make.

Ditto! Sure they'll "fit". But a wider tread with narrower rim will also affect the actual contact pattern of the tire with the pavement. Usually lowering tire pressure helps the contact pattern, but the sidewalls suffer. No free lunch. Compound is the key. No free lunch there either... the more they stick, the faster they wear.Tire width does not directly mean you will put your power down... Changing to a tire that has a much better compound is going to get your power down. Also you realize that the hellcat only has sub-par 275's right? So switching to a properly sized r-compound tire that is also 10mm wider on all fours should be plenty more grip without you having to fork out more cash for different wheels.
Where???Don't do it! 305's were barely fitting good on my 20x10" wheel.
