Just hit 3 months today and sitting at 1900 miles. For the record, have installed these options: MGW Shifter, Roush Performance Pack 1 with Tune, MagnaFlow X Pipe, Steeda Clutch Spring, Steeda Stop the Hop Kit and 4 Point Brace. Steeda F/R adjustable Sway Bars with End-links. Left to install are Steeda Springs and matching struts. This is a 6 Speed, 401a, PP1 Car with Active Exhaust.

Just came back from a long ride. I think deceptively fast is an accurate description. Simple pull in 6th gear from 60 and looking at 100MPH. The suspension is solid and the Steeda Suspension adds make it very predictable. One WOT push before the suspension adds and got a little lose 1-2 shift. Now no more issues solidly planted. I have a couple of favorite back road twisties I routinely drive and car sticks like a magnet. Best handling car I've had.

I'm not big on WOT starts, but the few times I did 1-2-3 at 7K shift. Very Fast and grinning from ear to ear.

Very nice - I own a 18 PP1 6MT along with a LandCruiser. I'm at 5K and absolutely love it. Just did a trip to Tucson AZ from Prescott AZ - not many twistys though.

I'm at the 3 month point also. I've put about 3500 miles on it, a lot of it on backroads. I really love these PS4 tires, they are the best road tire I've ever used, they just stick and give me confidence in the corners. This 10 speed is super quick and I have to watch myself in town. With an x-pipe, this car really has great tone and I've gotten a lot compliments on that. I hardly listen to the radio but it does sound better than the base radio in the 15 EB I had. I'm getting 20.5 mpg with ethanol-free 91 octane gas and I drive it pretty hard. Car feels solidly built and there are plenty of smiles per mile.

First post! I'm just at about 3 months as well. 6500 miles so far and it's been awesome. I opted for the 10 speed (it was a hard decision) and I am very happy with the performance so far. Only mod so far is the Ford Performance X-pipe. I opted for the active exhaust and WOW, the difference in track mode is insane. Glad I went with the X pipe so soon. THIS is what it should sound like from the factory!

Oh man, I know the feeling. Every time I get in mine.. well lets just say I've no longer cared about my work commute being longer than normal. I've purposefully done a literal loop on a couple highway on/off ramps just to drive it a little further in the evenings. I've also been going on very odd.. random drives to like.. home depot to get.. like a pair of gloves. But yes, as I walk up to it or into the garage to it, I feel myself want to smile. And I'm also like babying it and have only done maybe 1 more spirited start here and there.. I'm trying to be patient before really pushing of course for break in.

How does the Steeda clutch spring change the feeling of the clutch in your experience? I came from a Hyundai lol so that clutch was kinda 'light' I guess; this initially I thought felt heavier.. but the more I drive it the more I'm actually ok with it and getting quite used to it. Curious if that makes it basically easier as far as leg work, or harder, or if it's intended more to increase feeling?

I've been debating on X-pipe or H-pipe for mine... from what I hear the H-pipe may be more my alley as I guess it deepens more? But either do both a great job of really opening it up to my understanding/youtube research lol. At least the Active Exhaust alone is quite fun to have though, and It's just so nice to be able to make it louder. I need to actually get tint done pronto though!

My current 'research' with the car is really trying to identify what I like in the different modes. The other day it was a little wet out, and made me think of snow/wet mode and I thought to switch to it to see what happened. lol I 'felt' like I was trying to pedal to the floor the whole time I was driving, like the car was not responding correctly, came to realization.. duh Snow/wet mode. Different modes is neat to me, and first vehicle with them for me. So far, I think I like sport the most.. other day I noticed that comfort mode steering doesn't appear to be in normal mode by default. So it's just.. not in a mode it appears lol

Wait a minute! How can that be? Everyone on this forum says the Coyote has crap torque. Maybe it’s the x-pipe...

No body better say that as it is neck and neck with the 350. Knowing this forum you are likely correct.

An yes this up a long up hill grade to boot. For sure, the Roush PP1 with tune adds torque lower then stock Coyote.

Clutch is smooth at this point with the Steeda spring. That said, if I had to do again, would most likely leave the stock spring in.
Yeah I hardly notice it. I love the X pipe though - really brought out the beast. Best mod so far.

Nah, 350 was 10 car lengths behind LOL. Seriously, Co-worker has a stock 350. It's a beast and someday we will find out.

I love the X pipe. I believe you are correct that the H pipe should give it a bit of a deeper tone. I love how throaty it gets in the high revs with this x pipe though!

I've used the rain/snow mode a few times (second day owning it began to snow a bit) and it works well for it's purpose. If it's dry roads I'm usually in Sport+/sport steering/track exhaust. Can't get enough of this car!

If you get a chance, the drive from Sedona, up Oak Creek canyon, to Flagstaff is awesome.
