Wow, now I wonder what the stock speed would be like? A lot of people have asked me so far if the car is limited, my guess is it's only limited on paper ;-)
Well, on paper my GT should be limited to 250. I have done 270 (GPS measured). Crazy!

Any suspension mods?
In my Sig but just CJPP lowering springs and Wheels and Tires,
The stock 17's were ugly as hell and the H rated (210kph:crazy:) Hankooks that came on them were pretty terrible.

How have you found the stock struts to handle the CJPP lowering springs? I have a set of steeda progressives which are also a mild drop waiting to go on and wondering how the stock struts will match to them.

I agree on the base 17s :D. Picked up a set of used GT premium 19" wheels which I love.

The CJPP go perfectly with the stock dampers. Like they were designed for them. Far less bounce than on stock. I will go as far as saying all v6 and non PP eco owners should spend the $180 for them as thier first mod. I was planning to upgrade the shocks too but won't bother as the ride is perfect on the street. If you track alot they may be slightly under dampened.

My biggest issue is tha tyre pressure......not sure what to use as i find the ride stone hard. Currently ride on 2.5 PSI, considering lowering it to 2.2 PSI.
After 2 months now Ive been checking the tire pressure on nearly every drive and I'm not sure why it changes all the time. Initially it was set to 2.5 when I left the dealer, but this changes about every day. Weather & temperature maybe?

2.2 | 2.4
2.3 | 2.2

After my checkup past week they set it to 2.7, bone hard IMO but after about 3 days the monitors shows 2.5 again on all tires.

Mine's also jumping up and down. They are set to 2.5 but have less in the morning when cold and sometimes 2.6-2.7 after a drive. Will experiment later.

Using a nitrogen fill will stabilize your tire pressures alot, because there is very little water vapor in it. It's up to you if it's worth the money though.

Ride comfort is one of the reasons I went with 18s, as well as cheaper tires, less weight and less chance of curbing.

I run 3 bar in mine as General Gmax AS-03s have soft sidewalls. I love the ride. I will show you at the meeting next week

The EU boost should be limited to 232 kph. To be honest, I don't know how I'd feel about that speed. I think the fastest I have ever driven is 185.

Thanks Glenn!

Just been experimenting and as said, 2.2 when cold. Went up to 2.7 after a bit of fast driving. But somehow the car felt better today

Anyway, sometimes I find the ride to be a bit "jittery", as in bouncing so I may actually bring the pressure down to 2.0 or 2.1 just to try.

As the tire warms up the water vapor in the air inside of them heats up and expands very quickly. since water is non compressible the pressure rises quickly.
Be careful running less than 2 bar on your low profile wheels, a pot hole could destroy one instantly!

Interesting thx!

Instead of monitoring my gas-millage I will drive with the tire pressure app on when doing a long drive and see at what point they change. Been driving a lot switching between the oil apps as well, and notice that it takes a long time before the oil and gearbox oil get in the center of the graph.

Btw, the test monitor is also interesting... keep OK pressed when starting the car until you see the test monitor appear.
