275's at all 4 corners

I am wanting to run 275 tires at all 4 corners on my 2016 GT w/PP. I am on stock wheels and was wondering if a spacer would be required in order for the fronts to clear.

The front wheel is 9" wide. Shouldn't really go higher than 265.

Good point. I believe I saw some guys on here are running 275's on 9inch PP wheels though.

Not sure if this helps but I'm running a 275 square setup but it's on the 20" Foundry wheels. I'm not sure how wide they are but I thought they were 9". Maybe they're 9.5"? In any case, I don't have any issues. Stock PZero's were 265/35/20 all around. I'm now running 275/35/20 all around using Conti ExtremeContact DWS A/S tires.

EDIT: I have confirmed that the Foundry wheels are 20" x 9". Like I said, I'm running 275's on a 9" wheel with no problems and no spacers.

You can do what you want to do but keep in mind:
- Having the same width of tire on two different width rims on the same car may be noticeable from an aesthetic point of view, such that the front tire has notably more over-the-rim-edge bulge than the rear tire
- Tire contact patch and sidewall strength can be affected negatively when you put them on a rim outside of the manufacturer's prescribed range. Check Tire Rack of your choice of tire's website to see if they allow for their 275 to be on a 9" rim.

People do it all the time. Just don't know why you would... unless you want to rotate tires.

Ok so I actually have 275s all round on a set of PP rims.

The 0.5" different in widths is not aesthetically noticeable. I can barely tell which wheel is which by eyeballing them and often just go by the different valve stem positions on the 9/9.5" wheels as it's easier to tell than by the tire sidewalls.

You might need a small 5mm spacer, but it may depend on your exact camber in the front if you barely clear or not. With stock camber I think it should clear.

I'm doing this with stiff-sidewalls on autox/track tires, so they don't flex as much as an A/S tire would. IDK if it would be a good choice with something like all-seasons and you may get some squishy turn in response with that kind of setup in the front, but it will work.

I'm running 295 30 20s with 20x10 squared without a spacer so I'm sure the stock 19s will be ok with 275s.. It all comes down to the offset of the wheels though. You can pick up spacers really cheap though if not.

Thank you for the info. I think I had seen another one of your posts where you said you were running 275's on the 9in PP wheels and that is where the idea came from.

I plan on running summer tires with a stiffer sidewall so hopefully that will not be an issue.

You can run a 275/40/19 all around on the PP wheels no issues.

That can work and do a 5 mm spacer upfront and your solid.

That is definitely the plan but for now I need to replace the tires and will just put them on the 9.5" wheels when I get them.

19x9.5 GTPP Wheels with 275s will not clear without a spacer. Just tried
