Id get the 255/35 DSW and call it a day. Use the $400 you saved and throw it towards exhaust or some other mod. You're not going to notice the difference in tire size.

I'm a fan of the dedicated winter setup. But I have used those general G-max before and they are pretty good (17" size on a jaguar). If you source some cheaper wheels elsewhere, you could probably get that winter setup price a bit lower. (as long as you don't have the GTPP brakes).
No PP, price per Tire Rack for Winter set up was for cheapest 18" wheels/tires they sold. Getting everything through the Tire Rack, for another $144 they mount/balance/install TPMS sensors. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do, have a few months yet to decide.

Thanks.

I don't mod cars anymore, but I could still use that extra $$ for other things.

Appreciate your reply.

Post resurrection... I am going from factory 19's on 255/40-19's on 8.5" wheels (Pirellis) to a staggered 20x9.5/20x11. I'm a sticker about never putting larger overall diameter tires on a car you intend for performance (negative effect on gearing, also sometimes looks ridiculously tall). As such, I'm going with 255/35-20's front and 295/30-20's rear, which are precisely the same overall diameter as 255/40-19's. 27" all the way around, 100% same as stock. I think I'll be happy with the set-up, but curious of anyone has those particular sizes, particularly the 255/35-20's on front...

Wheels/tires are on order, so I don't have pics to show yet.

EDIT: wheels were on extreme backorder of at least 6 months.... went w/ different wheels and entirely different sizes (285/35-19 front, 325/30-19 rear). LMR package.
