Tracker randomly updated to shipped this morning. No email at all. Got a text from my buddy at the dealer this afternoon…. SHE IS ALIVE AND WELL!!!

Ole darlin getting that ceramic coat next week then I’ll be making the trip up from TN on the weekend to pick her up. Cannot wait!!!! Take back everything I said, I wasn’t this excited as a 5 year old on Christmas!!!

Congrats! The waiting is hard but it certainly pays off when you pick it up! Enjoy it, these things are a blast!

My dealership had a ton of technical issues this week so I haven’t been able to pick up my car yet after she supposedly arrived on Monday. Seeing as it’s Friday, I decided to drop in and confirm “proof of life” and………

She is just stunning. 🥹

They let me get in and start her up and check things out, too. Wow, what a roar. And that grabber blue metallic sparkles like crazy despite her still being filthy from her journey. I’ll be officially releasing her from her stable tomorrow afternoon!

Grabber blue with the metallic really is blindingly bright in the sun and depending on the lighting the color always look different.

I'm glad Alexandria branch is playing ball. They're close to me and while friendly enough never were interested in writing great deals in the past. This may have changed what iwth the rivalry.

Honestly I wasn't too upset, he seemed nice at first but was slow to reply and after a couple of follow ups I just chalked it up as him being too busy w local customers perhaps.

You are correct. FP confirmed it arrived at Baltimore on the 25th. There are a couple boats leaving between now and the 9th of November. Fingers crossed but my dealer ETA would suggest it would be leaving on the boat leaving on the 24th.

Welp…let’s just say that I’m NEVER awake before 11am on a Saturday and I just woke up at 7am ready to clean out my garage like a madwoman thats prepping/nesting for the arrival of their newborn LOL

And looking forward to hopefully seeing your own photos soon given your tracker update today!! Looks like the Ford stork is making the rounds this month

PS: she was so mad that I left her there, I can tell. As if she didn’t look mean and crabby enough already, this face tells me all I need to know about how she feels hahaha. Just a little longer, B.B.!

Decided to check the tracker this morning and this appears to be a good sign......

Same here. The built went from half filled since 16th to checkmark in shipped, overnight. Dealer thinks the transporter will show up today or monday

Pinch me...its appears to be reality. Dealer called this morning and they received delivery last night

Offered for me to come over today to see the car and take delivery as early as Monday (dealer is closed Sundays). As much as I want to go, I have family staying with us from out of state. That, coupled with my perceived lack of ability in handling leaving her there, I have decided to pass on the visit and get the full effect on Halloween when she will come home.

Welp…let’s just say that I’m NEVER awake before 11am on a Saturday and I just woke up at 7am ready to clean out my garage like a madwoman thats prepping/nesting for the arrival of their newborn LOL

LOL...totally get the cleaning garage out thing!! Did this a couple weeks ago in preparation. All dangerous items have been removed to make the area safe from any potential falling or dinging accidents.

Yesterday was an absolute whirlwind but my B.B. is now home with me and I got to spend the day bonding with her.

She is just stunning and I’ll never get tired of that roar, wow. What an amazing feat of engineering she is and I feel so lucky and privileged to know she’s mine and I was able to experience the V8 in all its glory. Really hoping the scheduling emails start up again and the Ford stork keeps making the rounds because these cars are amazing!

Beautiful car. Congrats. Less than 3 months start to finish on yours is phenomenal in these times. I ordered my MY22 about 3 weeks before you and was finally told in Oct it wouldn’t be built. I was convinced it was the dealer so I was referred to Ourisman and have now been scheduled On MY23 order. I suggest that others not getting scheduled seriously look at other dealerships. Enjoy
