22 S550 Tracking Thread

I have a question for folks that have taken delivery of your Mischievous Purple cars.....Do you still love the color? Any regrets? I ask because I was looking at one in the showroom yesterday (my 23 MP is on order) and it just looked kind of blah, murky inside the showroom. I know they look better outside and you see the purple more in sunlight....I flip flop between MP and Grabber Blue. Just want to see what people are feeling now that they have their cars. It's a big investment and I want to be happy....It's not too late to change it so I want to be sure. Thanks for any input!

I haven’t received my Mach 1 yet, should be this week with luck but have seen a few, definitely needs the sun to look at its best, on a dull day it can look grey/black, but when it pops there’s nothing like it, I definitely wouldn’t change colours if I was aloud to, as I think Mischievous purples is going to be a rare colour, Ford does not produce Purple Mustang very often

Yeah when he first told me about them my ignorant mind immediately pictured semi-truck mudflaps (complete with the sultry lady silhouette and everything LOL) clunking around behind my GT’s wheels

He was quick to educate me and now I’m sold! Did you get them in black or bright blue? I’m curious what the blues would look like paired with the GBM, though I’ll probably stick with black.

I might pick some up too, I’m good where I live but my parents house is 1/4 mile down a caliche road and then my driveway is practically clay. Any bit of moisture and the side of the vehicle looks like an abstract painting.

Another, potentially cheaper alternative (compliments of the awesome @Farkel) you can consider if you’re concerned about kicking up gravel are Rokblokz — or Mustang mudflaps/splash guards!

I’m adding them to my accessories list after he recommended them to me and I did a bit of research.

The Rokblokz are a little pricey for what they are (I paid $99 on Amazon) but they’re totally worth it to me. Especially if you have tires wider than the base 235’s.

And you wouldn’t really notice they aren’t oem if you don’t own a mustang. They’re not like a Subaru or anything

You have to use the Ford Order tracking page from Canada: https://shop.ford.ca/vehicleordertracking

You'll need the VIN and the Order Number that you find on the Window Sticker.

The whereismymme.com site never works for me either. Just sits there thinking. Loads car info but nothing else. It worked a few times but not lately. I'm just not meant to track my progress. Haha

Whereismymme is very erratic as it works sometimes, just need to keep trying through the day, it usually gets there in the end

Well well, it looks like my pony has made some advancements in her confinement at Antwerp.

She passed from this status "Ant Trans (receiving compound)" to "ANTWERP (ready to leave)", supposedly there are some intermediate steps "Ant QPDI (QC)" "Ant CUST (customs completed)" but I didn't catch them.

Despite this advancement the Ford estimated delivery date moved from 11/19 to 11/26.

I am SO happy to see more movement with other cars as well. Here's hoping estimated dates are conservative and you get them sooner!

Yeesss congrats!! Love that middle pic — she looks so beautifully mean.

Her little sister was apparently two hours North of me yesterday (I checked with FP about an hour ago), so I anticipate she’ll likely be arriving early for me this week. My ETA is still October 21-27, so we’ll see!

Ford vehicle tracking has finally moved my car to "built" today. (I called Ford and the dealer both today and asked who I needed to talk to up the chain to at least get the tracker updated.) I questioned the dealer about the three Mustangs posted last week on their website which all have blend dates a month after mine. Small steps.

Got this update from Ford Performance this morning.

Your Mustang is in production at this time. ETA for assembly line completion is Oct 18th. ETA to dealer should follow once produced.

Modules were populated when I checked 15 minutes ago and my Ford customer account shows updates are available for the Sync3 system.
So glad to just know it's all real.
