Our cars sound similar. I was told same thing last Thursday about the coyote and the black accent package. I'm at an 02 as well. I left dealership and called Ford Performance to see if those component hold ups were legit. Ford Performance told me no, there were no component hold ups. It was a scheduling thing, probably at the dealer level. Amazing how they spew out this misinformation.

I came back to this post because I believe there probably is a component hold up related to Black Accent. I've been in production since August 23, and my "In Production" date is 9/1 and you and one other person haven't been scheduled yet. We all have black accent options on our cars. Everyone getting built does not have the black accent option.

Just got the call from the dealership. My car has arrived and they’re already going through the PDI. Picking her up tonight. I’ll post up pics as soon as I can!!

Yes I am thanks! In my 25+ years of driving this is my first brand new car (my wife gets the brand new cars, gotta keep her happy).

I came back to this post because I believe there probably is a component hold up related to Black Accent. I've been in production since August 23, and my "In Production" date is 9/1 and you and one other person haven't been scheduled yet. We all have black accent options on our cars. Everyone getting built does not have the black accent option.

Yeah really lucked out with the weather. Going to get up early tomorrow and wash and wax it then get some of my appearance mods on

Yea I was going to ask you if you had an update. You do have a unique color though. But theres 2 people in this thread unscheduled with Black Accent that have been told the black accent was holding up their scheduling. A little insight would be nice from ford telling me.

I had mine ceramic coated and PPFE done by a great shop in Elgin, window tints as well.

Don't know if you were planning on doing that.

Are you having the dealer hold off on the wash/wax as part of their prep?

It’s a hobby of mine so I plan on coating the car myself. Was debating PPF but decided not to do it. Glassparency graphene ceramic coating is what I’m using

The car has been built, just not released and shipped. The dealer and Ford have both confirmed that the car is ready to be shipped and neither is sure why it is still sitting at the plant. The dealer tells me that there are not flags or obvious reasons for holding the car.

it has to be a quality issue. Something that’s not quite right. They are waiting on something to come in. Trust me I’m at the end of my rope but I have two choices wait or look for a similar car. Not a lot of MP verts out there. The one I was looking at they are crazy on the price.
