Well I am trying to keep the faith, but I have found a GT vert in MP 4 hours from me. It’s a few grand more but might be a bargaining chip with my dealer

FP guys can only give you the info that shows in the record, ie the last scan if it had shipped. No new scan — no movement — no new info.
Don't lose hope. Mine showed up on the first day of my original shipping window. FP has good information, but they are not up to the minute either. Friday afternoon they were telling me it was sitting on a rail car on K.C. but by 11:00 Saturday morning I was fielding a call from my dealership about it being delivered that moring...

Just looked at Blue Oval Forum. More bad news? It does not even have 2022 Mustang scheduling listed any longer. It says MY2023 starts scheduling on 10/20/2022. No Mustang scheduling the week of 9/12/2022. I feel like this is a gut punch at this point. Anyone else interpret this any differently? Am I just super negative at this point?
At this point I would love if they just listed my 22 as a 23 model. Ill have a car that was delivered to me at the same time as 23 models hit the lot, but my resale value is immediately less because its a last year model.

wow, I finally was able to see the status of my July 31st order on shop.ford.com. I had to turn OFF ALL of my browser security settings for it to work and render. Thanks Ford, please FIRE EVERY LAST ONE OF YOUR WEB DEVELOPERS.

Unfortunately your dealer has no control over anything once the order is placed so not sure how the GT vert would be a bargaining chip. They’d probably say fine, go buy that one and they’ll gladly sell yours to someone else. I get the frustration, but the dealers can only do so much. They’re just as much at the mercy of Flat Rock as we are. Hang in there, it will be worth the wait when you get to go pick it up. That’s what I keep telling myself.

just buy it from Ourisman, Jason Clark will help you play hard-ball with the back-office. They picked it from another dealer so into it for probably between Invoice and MSRP but that doesn't mean they won't hear of selling it for less. They NEED to move the damn thing - it's a rather unusual combo and they basically have no hope of selling it. It was a 'take it or leave it' deal with a bunch of other stock.

I'd offer them 2% below INVOICE net of the $900 doc fee and let them chew on it. Don't mind the website price - it's not real.

Or did you mean the Sheehy one?

Wouldn’t read too much into it yet. I expect Nov schedule probably next week. But, I have made arrangements to order a MY23 from another dealer on the day the order bank opens. Should have known as a priority 17 I would never get a build date 5his late in the season. thats Ok. I don’t want a 22 this late in the model year anyway. I will take my chances with another dealer on the MY23.

If you are willing to take a long drive home you can call my dealer over at Hodge Ford in Muskogee OK. Dealer invoice + $699 - Ford incentives, no pricing games, & no dodgy crap. For reference my deal came in at $3,744 under MSRP.

I agree. I'm planning on going to my dealership on Monday the 19th to order a 23. I'll see what arrives first (or at all!).

Your next step is to watch the codes page:

https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

Mine was "done" the day after the module data populated. Apparently some people have been able to see them as they come online 1-by-1 , but mine just dropped in a bunch. Then I was Contacting FP about every other day after to get updates.

FYI ther eis a bit of lag in FP data. I contacted FP for an update on Friday afternoon and they said it was sitting in a rail car in K.C. by 11:00 the next morning I got a call from my dealer (276 miles away) that it had arrived that morning and would be ready for pickup that afternoon.
I am a bit confused now because on 9/1, I noticed the tracker updated to say “in production” and my window sticker was available. Today, FP said it’s on the trim line. An hour or so ago I happened to check the tracker again and noticed that today’s date (9/12/22) has been added under “in production,” whereas no date was posted prior to today. I wonder what this means. I’m hoping production didn’t just start today, because I don’t see how it would be on the trim line already if so. Ughhhh.

Also, I tried that link you sent me but I can’t make sense of the codes. There’s tons of them and I have no idea what any of them mean haha

When mine got a date under in production all my modules were showing up. So your secondary status is probably produced. However I’ve been “produced” since 9/1 so I wouldn’t count on getting a built email anytime soon. If you do, let me know!
