Apparently the Ford CEO wants questions about the Mustang. May be all of us waiting for ours to ship, build or be scheduled could ask where the hell our cars are.

We should be so lucky. Unfortunately the Q&A is for questions on the new S650. I might submit one on it since it doesn’t even look like m going to get scheduled before the build out And I might then just wait for the new model to open its order bank. I hate to buy a vehicle that will almost be two years old by the time I get it. Great to see they are at least shipping them to people that have been waiting forever. No idea with what’s going on with scheduling this week No new info on the Blue oval forum. Maybe they are taking another two weeks off! LOL.

If you hear a question from Tulsa about the ordering process, and why customers who are laying down thousands of dollars need to go to message boards for information rather than the people getting paid to actually facilitate the deals between us and Ford, it just might be mine.

Should have known if I started complaining it would do me no good! Just got the dreaded 45 day email from them.

”We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Today, we wanted to give you an update on the status of your Mustang GT order.

Unfortunately, continued supply chain issues are slowing things down. We’re working diligently to try and reduce these delays.

Now here’s our promise to you. We know that waiting for delivery of your Ford is far less fun than actually driving it. So, we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days regarding your vehicle’s production schedule status. No matter what.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

At this point I don’t even care anymore. I’m waiting to see the reveal of the S650 on 9/14. A 2024 is looking more realistic everyday this goes on.

I am starting to give up hope as well....I am still not scheduled but many others after me have been....I think my dealer is the holdup / culprit. I sold my Camaro 2 months ago and have been sharing a truck with my husband. I really want to stick this out, but I just don't feel like this car will be scheduled. Waiting for the "cancelled" call from the dealer. This sucks because I got my order in almost 2 months before they stopped taking orders . I hope there is a miracle for all of us still waiting as I REALLY want this car and I know you all want yours too.

It makes no sense why I was able to be scheduled within four days of my first order confirmation, then within a few weeks after I had to cancel that first order because it was messed up. That’s TWO scheduled build dates for me within a month before some of you even get ONE after waiting around for far longer? Gotta be the dealers and something going wrong there.

I don’t live in a large metropolitan city at all but I do know my dealer is the biggest Ford dealer in the area, so allocations aren’t a problem for them, I guess? I was given priority code 10 for both orders as well.

It just sucks and I don’t think it’s at all fair to those of you waiting so darn long.

No rhyme or reason whatsoever. That’s where transparency would help. Not sure about the meat on the bone therory though. Mine was 3% under invoice plus a $1000 order incentive from Ford. That‘s really the only thing keeping me from walking into a dealer and buying a stock unit. Won’t find that kind of deal from most dealers.

I’m shocked you haven’t been scheduled with a priority 02. Hopefully you hear something soon. They have 3 weeks of builds in November that still have to be scheduled, so fingers crossed!

Ordered my GT with only 301a, black accent package and some safety features. Placed order on April 23rd. Order confirmed on may 13th. Still waiting for build date with priority 2 for last 2 weeks. my dealer is saying that im the next mustang in line at my dealership. He's telling me that the current holdup is V8 engine parts as well as black accent package roof paint or something. Anyone else hear a similar story? I am really hoping I get a build date soon.

That is a shame that they lie like that. maybe it is better for us if there is no part shortage? Hard to say lol. I am praying for a build date this week but not holding my breath. I prepared myself mentally that I may not get it until 2023

I'm hoping for the rest of us still waiting for a date that we get it this week too! I'm thinking if I don't hear this week, I'll have to order the 23 on the first day you can in September as a back up plan. Hoping we get good incentives for our trouble getting our 22s!
