There's multiple factors to when you receive your car after it is built. Things like where the car is being shipped to, whether or not the train is about to leave the rail yard when you car's finished etc.. Before the whole pandemic thing started, most vehicles shipped by rail were delivered rather quickly. Now with the shortage of workers and the astronomical fuel prices, rail companies are waiting for maximum capacity rail shipments to conserve fuel.so....what is the approx timeframe between "built" and delivery to the dealer? Mine's supposed to be build 8/15. Should I expect delivery in October? or December?
When you get that Wrangler CJPonyParts should give you a VIP account. I never used them until I got my Mustang, but now I default there for little things across both vehicles (I have a ‘22 Wrangler Sport).Ordered 1 22' GT Premium 401A PP1, Oxford White, Showstopper Red Recaro's and 6 Spd. 3/31/22
- Blend date of 08/02/22
Ordered 1 22' GT Premium 401A PP1, Oxford White, Black Recaro and 10 Spd 5/20/22
- Blend Date of 08/02/22,
However the dealer mistakenly kept the performance rear wing on the 10 Spd, and that's a deal breaker for me, they were awesome and re ordered to the correct specs and are looking to get priority pushed for the mistake.
I'm indifferent to the 10 speed or 6 speed, whichever comes first and I like more will be the keeper while the second will get used for a few months and traded in on a 23' Wrangler Rubicon order I have in,
Also having both will give me time to learn the nuances of the auto vs manual and determine which I want to keep long term as this is more of a collections item, Heritage piece to commemorate the American " Hot Rod " and " V8 " as the days are numbered,

Getting super close now - build week has stuck firm as August 8-12, FordPerformance chat just confirmed that the date is August 8th. Here's hoping for a quick delivery so I get a few warm weeks out of it!
Be aware they take 7-10 days for PDI. Also, being contacted by finance does not mean PDI is complete. I made both mistakes, almost with airfare. They WILL send proof of life if asked, which curbed some of my anxiety.I got the built email today... Blend was 7/28, Build 7/29.
Per the email should be at Granger 8/7-13. Road trip to Iowa coming soon!!
You can contact ford performance chat for an estimated delivery date. It seems fairly accurate. Mine seemed short compared to others, but turned out accurate for being convoyed. If your sticker is by rail, you might have to check once a week.so....what is the approx timeframe between "built" and delivery to the dealer? Mine's supposed to be build 8/15. I look forward to your photos as a preview of what I'm getting soon. That’s great to hear! They seem to be staying on schedule these days. I’ll post pictures once I get it!!! Exciting!!
Not yet, and trust me I am obsessively checking! Based on some other folks' timelines I think it'll probably be available around Thursday. Our cars will be build cousins, we have the same build day!
Is your windows Sticker already available?
I'm also checking very frequently, but mine being an EU export model, I'm not 100% sure it will ever display. Not yet, and trust me I am obsessively checking! Based on some other folks' timelines I think it'll probably be available around Thursday.
