Agree, I won't be surprise if the delivery carriers are lazy it wouldn't make sense.

I wish haha… my build week is may 9th though. I’ve heard of it going into production earlier though, hope mine does the same but for now still just says order confirmed.

I ordered my vehicle on a Saturday (March 19)
This morning I received notification that my vehicle is scheduled to be built week of May 30

22 GT CS, Atlas Blue, MT

I’ve gotten two email updates now. First email, they pushed build week to June 6th. Tonight they sent an update pushing it out to June 27. That was quick

Just got an email saying mine was pushed out again. May 9th->May 16th->June 6th->June 27th. Ordered Feb 9th. GT/CS A10,AE,401A,Atlas blue. Starting to think they just don't want to build this car.

Mine was built on 4-1-22 and I just received this email.

To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2022 Mustang GT is delivered to Mullinax Ford. Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of April 15, 2022, and April 21, 2022, has been updated to between May 3, 2022, and May 9, 2022.

Interesting language suggesting they need me to wait longer for them to deliver the car they built 27 days ago for MY satisfaction.

My order was placed 2/26 just got an email moving production up from 6/27 to 6/20

My car finally came in yesterday! Ordered Oxford white 301a with black accents and active exhaust on 12/17/21. Built on 2/14/22. Multiple pushed deliveries with the last one scheduled on 5/11/22 and it arrived on 4/27/22. I picked it up today and it had 13 miles on the clock.

Just saw a post on Ford Authority that Flat Rock will be down all next week as well.

That post says "The news comes at a time when the company is removing certain features from its lineup in order to speed up vehicle deliveries. "

Anyone know what these features are? I haven't heard this before.

The original source, a Reuters article, also says "Ford said on Wednesday it had built about 53,000 vehicles but not shipped them as they awaited final parts held up by the chips shortage."

Relevant discussion from Farley during Ford's earnings call this week:

"In fact, in the U.S. alone, our order bank is primed to deliver about $17 billion in revenue. Ford credit delivered another strong quarter. EBT was $900 million, reflecting strong lease residuals and credit loss performance. Free cash flow was $600 million negative, more than explained by unfavorable timing differences and working capital deterioration due to the higher inventory levels, which included about 53,000 vehicles on wheels, completed but awaiting installation of components affected by the semiconductor supply shortage."

I thought there might be some more info on Mustangs from the call. Not really a surprise, but the only mentions of "Mustang" for the entire call were of the Mach-E. Really indicative the company's priorities.

Wicked! I got the same color and options sans the AE. Would love to see more pics and angles, perhaps in the Oxford White thread. That built to delivery time is painful as mine is scheduled in June :(
