Woke up to a text from the dealer today saying my order has been processed quicker than expected and they have an ETA of August.

Not sure what that means for build date etc, I don't get any emails from Ford.

Ordered 14th March in the UK. Whether that will slip remains to be seen I guess but given that they told me it could be as late as October when I ordered it I'll take it as a win.

Patiently waiting.

Same. Mine was built on 4-1-22, and Ford sent me an email saying “Our current estimate for delivery to Mullinax Ford is between April 15, 2022 and April 21, 2022.” Sadly it’s the 25th now and no new updates. I’m guessing it’s stuck on a rail car in Orlando to at some point be picked up by a semi car hauler. I’ve actually felt super calm and patient through the entire process. I didn’t really start getting anxious until the delivery estimate passed.

I had a theory for the expected production date for European Mustangs and it seem to be more or less right: I just got my VIN allocated last Friday and my expected segmentation date is 6 June (see more details about my dates in the other thread).

Interestingly, when you configure a new car in the Ford website, you can already see in the URL the week number in the model year: https://www.ford.es/compra/encuentra/bp/ice#/model?catalogId=WAEEX-CZG-2022-MustangESP202225 -> end of the link: 2022.25

And when you actually finish the configurator, at the summary page you see the "model year" line:

And guess what, when is the 25th week of 2022? The week of 12 June. My segmentation date is 6 June, so the production will be that week or the week after, it correlates very well with the model year above.

I can find this same model year number for all the different European Ford websites (Germany, Italy, etc.).

I guess all/most of the European orders will be produced at the same week? They might need to do some retooling for that, as some parts and pieces are different from the US models.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that’s the model year, 2022.25, mine has that model number when I ordered it in December 2021

I was at the dealer today....they tell me my build date is now 5/11. I asked about the date being adjusted or adjusted and they tell me that this date is certain. Order date was 3/9.

I'm REALLY curious on what's happening regards of having another week being pushed as there's no weather conditions that interrupts the day. There's no way they're just "waiting" for more vehicles to be loaded for the dealership does it..?

Anyone know roughly, how close to their build date they saw their window sticker?

I need to know what the real price of this build is gonna be 😅

Someone posted 7 to 10 days before build.

While not Ford related, I had a tour of the Viper plant, CAAP, back in 2000. At the time, there was a 1999 GTS still at the plant. (They kept the built cars in a huge room at the plant) At the time, Vipers were delivered by (if memory serves) Reliable Carriers and until there was a full truck heading to a given area...the cars waited.

Car is in production today! Called my dealer and they said it should be about 3 weeks from today that it gets in, located in Florida
Hope three weeks is your experience. Mine was built on the first and still not at the dealership in Orlando. My email estimate from Ford Was the 15th - 21st. Still hasn’t arrived, but hopefully soon. To be fair I’m just a few days passed three weeks but Ford definitely missed on their email estimate.

I’m curious as well, but don’t have any theories as to why the delay.
