My sales rep called today and informed me that my mustang is in Hapeville - it's a major railyard for the metro atlanta area. So there's that - Yay!! They also gave me the Rail Tracking ID even though I don't think there's a point to that now - it traveled down via Norfolk Southern for anyone who may be looking at receiving in the Georgia area.

Sales rep said it could still be up to 10 days, that's what they've been experiencing as far as once it arrives to Hapeville. Fingers crossed it's a lot quicker and I'll have pics to share by Sunday.

Looks like we have an update from being "In Production":

I figured I would check the Ordertracker app, a little while ago, and it changed to "Awaiting Shipment". Not believing my eyes, I checked the Ford Tracker which has been notoriously slow to update, and sure enough the "Built" is now populated and marked with today's date 10/10/2022. Have yet to receive the Ford email indicating built, so I reached out to FP chat.

Got Eric (concerning at first and assumed I would be placed on multiple hold notifications) and was pleasantly surprised as he responded immediately and checked my vin. Confirmed it was released today and awaiting shipment with and eta of 10/26-11/1.

Although cautiously optimistic.....it feels like progress. Hopefully the built email will come over night.
Just FYI, you might not get a “built” email, just as @Tawse and I didn’t. Our trackers both said “built” and then our emails skipped right to “shipped.” So I’m hoping that’s the case for you too! Just go ahead and skip to the good part already lol 🤞

My built email came the next morning, you’ll get it tomorrow.

Thanks; that would be awesome for sure!

Ironically, I received an email from Ford 20 minutes after my post. Thought for sure it was the "Built" email notification. Turns out it was the apologetic supply chain delay email. LOL

We gotta get you folks your new rides since there will be a whole new batch of expectant owners wondering what’s going on hopefully starting this coming Saturday.

If I’ve gauged it correctly we will find out Saturday scheduling for 11/28, 12/5, 12/12, 12/19. No scheduling for week 12/26 as all plants will be closed that week. So hopefully by next Thursday there are many of us that will have our MY23 orders scheduled, finally!

Might even know what’s being scheduled next week on Friday. If it’s released, Blue Oval Forums will have it up Friday. Hopefully those of you that had your ‘22’s cancelled will get first crack at ‘23 scheduling!

So if they’re scheduling MY 23’s, what does that mean for those of us who still have our “produced” 22’s sitting at flat rock MIA?

Hopefully they get them on trains and trucks and get them out to those waiting for them!

Shouldn’t mean anything since Job #1 on the MY23 isn’t until 11/30. Hopefully they will have found them and got them to you long before that. If they can train bomb and drug sniffing dogs you would think they could train Pony sniffing ones! Good luck

So I ordered MY22 GT premium with California special back on 03/04/2022, finally underwent production on 08/31 but since then no updates on tracker. I chatted with FP chat couple of times but they just tell me that it is produced but not released yet and they do not see any holds. Now it has been more than 5-6 weeks since it has been in production status, what could I do next to see what's holding it in same status?

Today I got an email from the Ford sales director Belgium. He asked for my phone number and eventually he'll get in touch with me tomorrow.

I hope that the guy in his position has the ability to get a car produced in less than 1 month.
Today I had the conversation with the director of Ford Belgium. First of all he told me that it is absolutely not normal that an order is unplanned for 9 months and that the order never made it from Europe to the USA. So I would have continued to wait weeks and months for a car that will never be built.

He has now taken on the matter and is trying to get it built as MY22, alternatively then as MY23. Provided he still gets a slot for production 22, the car would be built in the next few days and weeks.

In the case where it becomes a MY23, it will be built within the first week of December.

In any case, he guaranteed that I will have the Mustang by the end of January.

This is one of those cases where you're like... on one hand YAY!! But on the other hand, someone else should have fecking figured this out before it rose to his level. Like someone should have cared enough. This guy doesn't have access to stuff the people below him don't - they just never bothered.

that's infuriating.

Cancelled my order today, looking at options. Tired of the run around and the lack of answers. Seeing what’s out there.

Winter is coming and a Motorcycle is not the best option at times.
