Not good. Gut feeling is that this will happen. :(
Would just be nice to know the reason.
If it doesn’t build as a MY22 the odds are you will just get moved to a MY23 instead of being cancelled

I would prefer they just do it instead of dangling the carrot. Haha. Particularly if order banks fill before then.

Yea if anything don’t cancel your order. I believe you would have priority and possibly keep the same price since you already have a VIN.

you'd like to think so but Mach1 experience implies none of those outcomes is true.

You should keep the same price as that’s what happened when I had MY18 cancelled by Ford and I had to just change the colour for the MY19 as original colour was not available

For those of us with MY22 orders that never got scheduled I’m not sure there will be any November builds based on the Production Schedule released this morning. The last time the MY22 had any scheduling was the week of 8/22 and that was October scheduling. Nothing since.

Interesting that the 2022MY doesn’t even appear on the schedule. Other 2022MY vehicles are there even if they have stopped scheduling them. Something seems off. Last I saw production for 2023 starts end of November.

The lack of a line item for MY22 is the first thing that caught my eye because for the last two weeks it was still there with the standard announcement that 2023MY STARTUP SCHEDULING BEGINS 10/20/2022. The last 2 weeks now show the MY23 and nothing about the MY22 until back in August. Kind of gives me the impression they have put the MY22 back in the stable and are concentrating on moving forward on MY23.

My second ETA of Sep 7-13 has passed. My dealer said he was expecting it by the 17th. No show. GOOD NEWS is that I checked with FP this morning. Jeremy, who has been by far the best rep I've gotten, said it was scanned at New Boston on 9/9 on it's way out and arrived at my local railhead on 9/16 about 2.5 hours away. Now the wait is for a truck to pick it up and deliver.
New ETA is Sep 21-27, coincidentally during my already scheduled vacation away from home. I expect to get the call that it has arrived either a few miles into my trip orrr.. mid- October.

Lastly, Jeremy stated that they at FP would like to hear when our cars are delivered so they can better document that so they can maybe provide more realistic ETAs/ feedback on ETAs in chat. They also strongly believe tracking and communication from Ford needs to be overhauled - ie Ford automatically providing the same info we have to ask for in chat.

For the sake of those still waiting to be scheduled, I hope they haven’t put 2022 on the shelf. There’s 3 weeks in November that would be open until they flip the plant over to 2023 after Thanksgiving. Will be interesting to see if anyone gets emails on Thursday.

Very discouraging info today with the 9/19 scheduling week not including MY22.....I called my dealer AGAIN to see if anything had changed in the system on my car (like cancelled or in preview) He said nothing and then was kind of pissy with me saying I had way too much anxiety around the car and he doesn't know how I function worrying about it all of the time. I'm sorry but I have gone for 3 months with no car and I'd like to know the timeline on what will happen next and when I can expect to have a car at all. I am a customer spending a lot of money. WTH..... I think if I have to order a 23 it will be with a different dealer. What started out as fun and exciting has turned into a major anxiety provoking cluster. I hope we all get scheduled this week. Fingers crossed and good vibes to my unscheduled friends!

I would tell him where to shove his order and run, not walk to another dealer. I’m 72 and have grasped how the internet has changed the car business. Sounds like he doesn’t have a clue or chooses not to. Sorry you are having to deal with this. Hopefully you will know something firm soon.

How reliable is the vehicle order tracker? Mine is set for Production next week but today I refreshed the tracker and it shows "in production". No new email and the window sticker still isn't available. Not sure if I should get excited or just chill. lol

You typically go in production about a week before your blend date. You should be able to see your window sticker in the next few days if I remember correctly.
