Does anyone have insight into how they group builds together in the Queue? Do they Build all one color one day and another the next with varying other options? Or do they build one engine and trans combo all day with all kinds of other options and colors. I'm sure they have it down to a science, I'm just wondering. For Example, Is there a chance that my EG 401a ordered 7/9 will be built at the same time as the guy waiting since April for EG Ecoboost convertible?

Good! I'll post when I see mine!
@rhorizon It's happening! Modules are appearing in AsBuilt and Sync shows as updated. Still don't see the build date and vehicle details in ETIS but this may be due to build not finished or IT systems are not fully synchronized with each other.

I'm very humbled, it's finally happening and if nothing goes wrong I will have the honor of driving a V8 in Italy, sadly you don't hear much of that music here.

I'm under the impression that the final assembly stage it's pretty indifferent to what goes down the line, as long as it's some kind of Mustang (should try to send some small Chevrolet as an April fool to test their reaction )

My export version has a few modifications than a North American one (mirrors, GPF, front bar, radio frequencies..) but it's being built in the same batch.

As long as the car is in the blend sequence it means that components are already bucketed and every bit of your car already lies somewhere in the factory. The final assembly is just the step where they put everything together.

My dealer told me a new bs-story that EU Sync3's are made in Ukraine and are out of stock.
Hence the reason why my build isn't scheduled yet.
I told him 'cool story bro, but the war is going on for almost 6 months, shouldn't production have been running on another site by may or june'

I feel like that Covid/war excuse is being abused a lot lately.

After my research it looks like they are all made by Panasonic and only the settings are
EU / US specific. Can anyone confirm that?

The Sync3 system consist of different parts, the part where all the brains are is called APIM and as far as I know these are made in Mexico, continental America. All the rest is various interfaces (usb ports, screen, buttons...) which I don't know where they come.

There are some variations in the system ancillaries : for example convertible have external FM antenna and different GPS sensor while Fastbacks have the antenna inside the back glass with an FM amplifier in the boot.
Also the parts that make up the sound system are different but since yours is an export version I guess you should have the B&O by default which means different ACM and external amplifier in the booth.

What I'm trying to say, there is no way the Sync for EU version is different. That makes no sense at all.

The real question: does your dealer have allocations? Contact Ford Performance Chat and try to understand your status (works only coming inside US, use a VPN or spin a VM in Azure with an US geography).
As you already understood there is high possibility you are being fooled by your dealer.
Order banks closes today, good luck.

Thanks for the information with the VPN. I already tried the chat before but was never able to open it. Right now I am at it, hoping I can finally achieve a result.

Edit: Well they can't help. I'd have to contact my dealer.
What a bunch of BS. I feel like I'm playing ping pong here

The window sticker normally available the day after it is INVOICED and goes IN PRODUCTION. Usually about a week before the BUILD date.
Thanks feel like I am going crazy. My build week is next week and I just want my window sticker. I have seen some get theirs early.

I just had a chat with Ford Customer service and the dealer. Still nothing. The delivery window started yesterday and goes until the 15th.

I put a deposit down on another vehicle from another brand. Car is currently at the final port and is just waiting to get on a truck and driven about 100 miles. Should be here by the end of next week.

I'll end up buying the car that shows up first.

That’s what is bugging me. Mine is “scheduled for next week”. I guess maybe it will be at the end of the week. 🤷‍♂️
