The 22"s actually fill up the large wheel wells pretty good.
Although it looks a little large in the front. I'd love to see a 21/22" setup on the S550

That actually is about as tasteful as I think you can make 22s on the S550.

The front end in particular just looks so wrong and out of proportion with wheels that big

Jason - I think a 20"/21" would be tits! Maybe a 245 or 255/35/20 in front and a 285/30/21 in the rear, both would have about a 3.5"side wall height.....what ya think?

Styles is not bad, but the over all look seems to be out of proportion for me.

I agree.. Its the front end that makes it the reason why this car cant fully pull off 22's.. Big body cars like Chargers and 300's and others can pull them off nicely but they look a little out of place on the s550 platform.. For me as i said before i like 19's the best with 20's being ok too at the most. But that being said i dont like smaller then 19's that looks bad in a different way for me..

We've actually built a 20/22" set of F14s in Bronze Burst for a S197 recently.

We were able to pair them with the proper tires to keep the OD close to OEM

I only have this pic of them installed though, hes working on his air now!

Sorry, but that is pure "FAIL" right there. Lowered, it will at least look better, but that setup is just so wrong.

1.) IMO you should never jump TWO sizes front to back, unless the car is a Prowler or similar.

2.) With rare exception, like maybe a really well done show/SEMA car, 22's are just too big on a mustang

3.) It looks absolutely silly with a significantly meatier sidewall in the front then what's in the back. That rear rubber band tire honestly looks laughable.

Might as well spray paint a cartoon character on the trunk to complete the whole "donk" look.
