Did you place a Retail Order for a 2022 Mustang? If you ordered through your dealer, without getting a confirmation email from Ford, it has to be the dealer somehow. Ford is still taking orders as of today, even for Mach1's, this makes no sense unless your dealer is messing with you.
No! Bill, I declined to order a 22 due to all the B/S about Ford not shipping etc. I have purchased 4 new vehicles from this dealer. He said about the only things selling are trucks and some Escape types. I have noticed his lot inventory is quite thin, and he has NO new Mustangs. My 20 only has 14.000 on the clock and knock on wood it's been OK. So it looks like 23 gets the Nod.

Genuine question, but why would your 2 year old car with 14k miles NOT be ok? Given that ok means functional and you don't hate it..

OK, sounds good for you. I haven't been impressed with the looks of the S650 that I've seen. I'm thinking that 2023 might be a short production year, that is basically an extension of the 2022, with 2023 VIN's.
Maybe they will even build a short run of Mach 1's too, before they start with an early starting 2024 MY S650.

Actually there is nothing wrong with this car. I do my own maintenance, tire rotation, filter changes, washed and waxed regularly. But I tend to turn them over every 2-3 years. My dealer loves the condition of the trade in and I get a smoking deal in exchange. There is just nothing available.

I see. Well, it looks great!

So far I tend to own cars until they fall apart. I'll probably do the same with my 22 that's on order.

Just a quick update from my side:

My order which I made on 1/29/2022 was canceled by Ford on 4/4 although it already was planned for production on 4/13. The dealer is clueless as no further details was provided by Ford.
Are you in the U.S.?

The title scared me, don’t do that!

But seriously, I just placed my order a little over a week ago and it’s looking grim. Are we going on week 3 of this most current delay?
Updating my post also that I was scheduled for June 13th and haven’t received any delays yet.

I stopped at my dealer the other day and said I'll be ordering a 2023 GT Please keep me in the loop as far as production goes. Let's see what happens.

Did you cancel your Eco or you getting both? Or you’re just seeing what they say?

Edit: nvm I got you confused with another member. Good luck!

No worries! I want a GT Premium if available but I'm NOT going to play the game if not available I'll try another brand.
