It’s my fault I didn’t have time to drive my car much before the upgrades. I was just on the motorway But now have done the following:

- front Steeda K brace
- rear Steeda alignment bushes
- rear Steeda support bushes

car I bought lrrasy had

- side Steeda Jacking rails
- Steeda H pipe
- rear factory spoiler

since then on around 1,000 miles I notice much harsher rear ride and bounce over any bump or roar imperfection, especially on corners where it will jump and slide out quite badly even under very mild power.

exhaust sound is epic. Lack of body roll is great. General rigidity and balance is good. Just the very skittish (not compliant) ride on anything it smooth surfaces bothers me.

im confused, as everyone says the rear upgrades ie. IRS alignment bushes and the support bushes, are a positive and stop the hop as Steeda calls it.

no-one mentioned any detrimental effect on the handling and they even say no detrimental effect on nvh so I’m really sureprised and I read a lot of reviews on those two Steeda items.

I’m now thinking what do I remove t9 g9 back to a more compliant ride? Just the support bushes?

also, what am I supposed to gain then from these upgrades, the alignment ones make total sense to me in terms of ensuring the IRS subframe doesn’t move aroune. Support bushes less clear to me apart from stopping the car moving vertically under power (hop) but surely the springs and dampers control comp,a once on bad surfwces so why do the support bushes affect that?

please explain those in the know and suggest what to remove to regain a nice smooth ride.

thanks
