I took the car out of 5 months storage today and the battery was DEAD. Dead, Dead, DEAD. I had to leave the jump starter on it for almost 10 minutes to get it to start. Now the doors won't lock whether using the interior buttons or the key fob. Also the trunk release is not working. Nothing happens when I press the interior trunk release button or use the key fob.

If I press the door lock button twice on the key fob the horn beeps like it should but the doors aren't actually locked. It's very strange. I did the battery reset procedure on page 272 of the owners manual thinking that might have been the issue but that did not solve the problem. Any ideas?

Disregard. I just went out and the door locks and trunk release are now working. I did find another post on Reddit from about a year ago where someone had the same issue and they said the locks and trunk release just started working again after waiting a little. So it must be by design.
I'll leave this post up in case someone has the same issue in the future, they may find it with a search.
